Joey Pollari Joins ‘Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story’ As the Axe Murderer’s Uncle

Joey Pollari, who played Anthony Perkins in “Monster: The Ed Gein Story,” will return for the fourth season of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s Netflix anthology series.

Variety has learned that “Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story” will feature Pollari as John Morse, the infamous accused axe murderer’s maternal uncle who was also considered a suspect.

Ella Beatty stars as Lizzie Borden alongside Charlie Hunnam as her father, Rebecca Hall as her stepmother, Billie Lourd as her sister, Jessica Barden as her close friend, and Vicky Krieps as the family’s maid.

Sarah Paulson will reportedly appear as notorious serial killer Aileen Wuornos.

“Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story” is currently in production in Los Angeles for release later this year on Netflix.

“Monster” launched in 2022 with “The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” and was followed by “The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” in 2024 and “The Ed Gein Story” last year.

Pollari can next be see in Murphy’s new genre series “The Beauty,” premiering January 21 on FX and Hulu.
