Jamie Foxx will slay blood-suckers in the upcoming Netflix original horror movie Day Shift, with the vampire movie headed exclusively to the streaming service on August 12, 2022.

“Strong violence and gore, and language.”

“Foxx stars as a hard working blue collar dad who wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income, hunting and killing vampires as part of an international union of hunters.”

The cast also includes Dave Franco, Karla Souza, Meagan Good, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci, Snoop Dogg, Steve Howey, Scott Adkins, and Zion Broadnax.

JJ Perry directed Day Shift, written by Tyler Tice and Shay Hatten.

Jamie Foxx executive produced the blood-sucking Netflix horror movie, with producers also including Shaun Redick, Yvette Yates Redick, Chad Stahelski, and Jason Spitz.
