Chilean found footage horror film Invoking Yell is getting a sequel with Invoking Scream, and we have your first look at the teaser trailer below.
After uncovering a buried box containing a VHS tape and a mysterious book of witchcraft at the grave of Invoking Yell’s lead singer Andrea Fernández, a trio of metalheads unwittingly unleashes a dark force.
What begins as a documentary about Andrea’s disappearance and the 1998 murders of her ill-fated bandmates quickly descends into a waking nightmare where the past doesn’t just haunt the living… it demands a sacrifice.
The sequel is once again directed by Patricio Valladares from a script he co-wrote with Barry Keating (Killer Mermaid).
María Jesús Marcone returns to star with Luna Martínez, Teresita Ríos, Matías López, and Romina Dagnino.
Currently in post-production, Invoking Scream is expected to premiere in Chile and hit the festival circuit in 2026.
Released in 2023, Invoking Yell follows three women in 1998 who venture into the woods to shoot a demo tape for their black metal band.
Michelle Swope wrote in her review, “Elements of the supernatural and occult rituals and riveting performances make the final act of Invoking Yell shocking, anxiety-inducing, and genuinely horrifying.”
