Released into Early Access on Steam last November, Terrible Posture Games’ horror comedy multiplayer heist game Burgle Supply Company will be leaving the service and launching in full on May 12. As one would expect, the 1.0 release will include new content, including six never-before-seen levels, new cosmetics, upgrades and more.
Previously known as “Good Boy” (you’ll see), Burgle Supply Company has you and up to five friends descend upon a neighbourhood to do a little window shopping, aka burgle. The thing about the neighbourhood is that the inhabitants are a little…odd. Plus, there’s a mutant guard dog ready to munch on intruders. As a result, you and your friends must acquire your epic loot without making noise. Every dropped lamp and bumped corner will fill up the noise meter, and lead the squad one step closer to chew toy territory.
Complete missions, return to home base, and deck out your hideaway with a plethora of decorations and upgrades to assist with future break-ins. You can also burglarize in style with customizable outfits and more than 130 fun masks to collect.
“Burgle Supply Company brings a fresh take to the friendslop genre with individually hand-built levels, fun and silly masks to loot and collect, and of course, the giant mutant dog hunting down robbers at every turn,” said Joe Mirabello, Creative Director at Terrible Posture Games. “There was a newly-released horror movie about a dog in distress with the same name and, you know, that dog-actor really is a good boy. He should get the name. Our game has grown during Early Access to focus more on Burglary antics anyway!”
In addition to the six new levels, you and your friends will have access to 80 additional masks, including new “Key” masks that can unlock hidden wings mid-heist. You’ll also be able to trick out your base of operations, aka your basement, with tons of added upgrades. And for kicks, there are three new scientific monstrosities stalking the neighborhood streets. Just in case explosive-egg-laying slugs, ghost moths and giant lobster fish weren’t enough.
