Henry Thomas Digs Up a Role In Next ‘Pet Sematary’ Movie!

Henry Thomas continues his renaissance with a role in the Paramount Players’ follow-up adaptation of Stephen King’s bestseller Pet Sematary at Paramount Players, reports Deadline.

The actor, who made a name for himself as the young boy Elliot in Steven Spielberg’s E.T., has recently starred in a plethora of genre projects from Netflix’s “The Haunting of Bly Manor” and”The Haunting of Hill House”, based on the novels by Shirley Jackson, to the upcoming limited series “Midnight Mass”, premiering next month on the streamer. He also starred in another Stephen King adaptation, Gerald’s Game, as well as Ouija: Origin of Evil.

Also joining the cast is Samantha Mathis, who was recently seen in the Blumhouse-produced Hulu anthology series “Into the Dark”, as well as Guillermo del Toro’s “The Strain” and “The Good Wife”. She also starred as Patrick Bateman’s girlfriend in American Psycho, pictured below.

The duo join previously announced cast members Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck, Jack Mulhern, Natalie Alyn Lind, Isabella Star LeBlanc and Pam Grier.

Production began last week on the Lindsey Beer-directed movie that will debut exclusively on Paramount+.

Beer wrote the script based off Jeff Buhler’s draft of the pic, which Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are producing, add the site.
