‘Halo Infinite’ Goes Gold, Releases on December 8

After surprising fans with the launch of the multiplayer Beta last week, Microsoft and developer 343 Industries have announced that Halo Infinite has gone gold. The full game is expected to arrive on December 8 for the Xbox Series, the Xbox One, and PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam.

Following the events of Halo 5: Guardians, Infinite sees Master Chief attempt to locate a new artificial intelligence known by codename “The Weapon”, and with their assistance, to discover the whereabouts of Cortana, Master Chief’s former AI companion. Standing in Master Chief’s way is The Banished, a rogue faction of Brute mercenaries led by War Chief Escharum.
