‘GRIME II’ Coming March 31 to Steam; Updated Demo Now Available [Trailer]

GRIME fans will be able to get their hands on the sequel in less than a month. Publisher Kwalee and developer Clover Bite have announced that GRIME II will launch on PC via Steam on March 31. And to make the wait a little easier, the developer has updated the November demo for GRIME II to coincide with Steam Next Fest.

New to the demo is a “slice” from the next area in the game, bringing with it new enemy types. The demo also features a “major”reworking of the traits system, along with visual improvements to the Temple area and bosses. Saves from this latest version of the demo will carry over to the full game, but unfortunately, saves from the previous version of the demo are not compatible with this update.

Become a stealer of forms in GRIME II, the sequel to 2021’s acclaimed action adventure Metroidvania. You are a Formless—an art mimic, absorbing creatures and summoning molds in their shape. Players venture into a new and mysterious land, where danger and wonder await around every corner. Use your surroundings in tandem with your summoned molds to overcome deadly enemies and epic bosses, all the while exploring a deep world full of diverse cultures and characters.

Create your own playstyle by choosing from a variety of abilities, weapons, and mold summons. Learn the makings of your enemies as you summon their form to both aid you in combat, as well as in exploring the various secrets paths of the world.
