“Gotham Knights” – Horror Icon Doug Bradley Playing Iconic DC Villain in The CW Series!

The CW’s brand new DC series “Gotham Knights” premieres March 14, and Bloody Disgusting has learned today that horror legend Doug Bradley (Hellraiser) has joined the cast!

Bradley will appear in Episode 6 of “Gotham Knights” as Joe Chill.

As one of DC Comics’ most infamous villains, Joe Chill irrevocably changed Gotham when he cruelly gunned down Bruce Wayne’s parents. And after fifty years of rotting on death row, Joe Chill is scheduled to be executed. But Gotham’s notorious “Patron Saint of Bad Guys” is not about to let his secrets die with him.

Producers Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams said, “When casting the iconic role of Joe Chill, arguably the man who created Batman, there was only one name we considered – Doug Bradley. We needed an actor with the kind of gravitas that would do justice to such a seminal character in DC Comics canon. And who better to embody the role of the classic Gotham fiend than the man whose legendary portrayal of another classic fiend – Pinhead in the Hellraiser franchise — continues to terrify generations of horror fans?”

Gotham Knights is set in a Gotham City reeling from the murder of Bruce Wayne. His rebellious adopted son (Oscar Morgan) forms an alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they’re all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. With Gotham as dangerous as it’s ever been, the group of fugitives could be the city’s next saviors.”

Of particular note, Misha Collins is playing Harvey Dent in the series.

Olivia Rose Keegan, Navia Robinson, Fallon Smythe and Tyler DiChiara star alongside Misha Collins in the pilot, directed and executive produced by Danny Cannon.

“Gotham Knights” is written by Chad FiveashJames Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams. The series is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
