The explosive action event of the year, sequel SISU: Road to Revenge, is heading home to Digital next week ahead of its physical media release early next year.

Writer/Director Jalmari Helander (Rare Exports, Big Game) is back at the helm, steering this carnage-fueled sequel into over-the-top excess.
In the sequel, “Returning to the house where his family was brutally murdered during the war, ‘the man who refuses to die’ (Jorma Tommila) dismantles it, loads it on a truck, and is determined to rebuild it somewhere safe in their honor.
“When the Red Army commander who killed his family (Stephen Lang from Don’t Breathe) comes back hellbent on finishing the job, a relentless, eye-popping cross-country chase ensues – a fight to the death, full of clever, unbelievable action set pieces.”
Richard Brake (3 from Hell) also stars in the mega-violent upcoming sequel.
I wrote in my BD review, “Helander continues to have a blast with inventing wildly silly ways to dispatch bad men during World War II. Road to Revenge kicks off another high-octane road actioner, but this time, the personal stakes ramp up the energy and violence to a breathless degree. It’s the type of movie designed to be seen with a rowdy crowd, primed for the kinetically paced stunt showcase.”
