Still playing in theaters across the country, Jason Reitman‘s legacy sequel Ghostbusters: Afterlife is also now available for Digital purchase, and Sony is looking to whet some appetites by releasing the first 10 minutes from the movie for free streaming on YouTube.
The first 10 minutes of Ghostbusters: Afterlife introduce the new cast of characters, but it’s the opening sequence that’s really special here. What has Egon Spengler been up to since the events of the original classic? The new movie’s opening sequence gives us a glimpse into Egon’s solitary life as a solo ghost-buster, highlighting the character’s final stand at his home.
Egon Spengler, of course played by the late Harold Ramis in the original two movies, is killed off by the Sentinel Terror Dog in the opener, setting the stage for the movie’s new storyline.
