Tickets are now on sale for director Christophe Gans’ Return to Silent Hill, but now there’s an even cooler way to immerse yourself in the eerie fog ahead of the film’s release.
Bloody Disgusting’s parent company Cineverse has teamed up with GameStop Corp. to pull out all the stops and recreate that video game feel ahead of the film’s theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
Starting today, January 7, fans who visit a participating GameStop can access a mysterious, digital message from Silent Hill that could lead game lovers to exclusive promotional items and perks, while supplies last.
Follow the clues to Silent Hill…if you dare.
Participating locations were strategically selected near theaters screening the film, creating a seamless, 360-degree experience that connects the in-store activation directly to the theatrical release—making it easy and rewarding for fans of the Silent Hill films to engage across multiple channels.
“GameStop is an inimitable leader in gaming retail, and we’re thrilled to join forces to serve fans where they shop,” said Cineverse SVP Marketing Lauren McCarthy. “This is a dream collaboration on many levels, and we’re so excited for fans to hear what is calling them from Silent Hill.”

The upcoming psychological horror movie brings the iconic horror franchise back to the big screen, adapting Konami’s beloved Silent Hill 2. When James receives a mysterious letter from his lost love, Mary, he is drawn to Silent Hill—a once-familiar town now consumed by darkness. As he searches for her, James faces monstrous creatures and unravels a terrifying truth that will push him to the edge of his sanity.
Jeremy Irvine is James, alongside Hannah Emily Anderson as Mary Crane and Evie Templeton (Wednesday) as Laura. Templeton previously provided the voice and motion capture for Laura in Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake.
Gans wrote the script for the new movie alongside Sandra Vo-Anh and William Josef Schneider.
