Directed by Thomas Marchese, one of the next original horror movies from Shudder this year is titled From Black, and Shudder has provided us with several first-look images today.
From Black will stream exclusively on Shudder beginning on April 14, 2023.
Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect franchise, True Blood) stars alongside Jennifer Lafleur (Big Little Lies), John Ales (Euphoria), Travis Hammer (Godless), and Richie Montgomery (Ozark).
In the film, “A young mother, crushed by guilt after the disappearance of her young son 5 years previously, is presented with a bizarre offer to learn the truth and set things right.
“But how far is she willing to go, and is she willing to pay the terrifying price for a chance to hold her boy again?”
Vincent Cardinale wrote the script.
Thomas Marchese is a multi-award-winning writer/director who has directed, shot, edited and produced music videos, short form narrative and documentary films.
