First-Person Psychological Horror Game ‘MADiSON’ Announced for Physical and Digital Release on Consoles

Last July, we told you about Nosebleed Games’ MADiSON, a first person psychological horror game that borrows Fatal Frame‘s mechanic of using a camera to fight off ghosts, while also using it to solve puzzles. The game was slated to arrive on PC via Steam and GOG this month, however a legal dispute involving Nosebleed Games’ name prevented that from happening.

Thankfully, there’s a happy ending here. According to Gematsu, Nosebleed Games is now known as BLOODIOUS GAMES. And not only will MADiSON be out “very soon”, but the game will also see a physical and digital release on consoles (though no specifics were announced), thanks to their new partnership with Perp Games.

In a press release, BLOODIOUS GAMES CEO Alexis Di Stefano remarks how MADiSON is the team’s passion, and as a result, they’ve “poured [their] heart and soul into developing a game that will really scare you and challenge your perspectives. Our journey has been incredible, guided by the passion of our amazing fanbase, and now, thanks to our partnership with Perp Games we are very happy to announce we are bringing MADiSON to consoles and can spread our game to so many more fans of psychological and survival horror.”

“It is not often you see a team with so much passion and talent,” says Perp Games CEO Rob Edwards. “Their knowledge and experience of the horror genre has been focused to develop MADiSON, a truly groundbreaking game that takes psychological horror to a whole new level. MADiSON is extremely scary, and we can’t wait for people to experience the tragic story of Luca in the coming months.”

MADiSON sees you playing as a girl named Luca. You’ve been abducted by someone possessed by the eponymous demon MADiSON for a demonic ritual. In order to survive, you’ll need to complete the ritual, fend off demonic forces, all the while trying to determine where you are and how you got there.
