Giallo-inspired short Artichoke recently wrapped production Castroville, California — the self-proclaimed Artichoke Center of the World — and we have an exclusive first batch of images.
Alyson Gorske (“Obliterated”) and Thomas Dekker (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) star, with Anna Lou Castoldi (granddaughter of Italian master of horror Dario Argento) serving as narrator.
Held captive in a violent relationship, Cynara (Gorske) discovers a phoropter that opens a portal to another world. In a terrifying cat-and-mouse chase between worlds, Cynara finally comes face to face with The Man (Dekker) and must decide what she’s willing to destroy in order to survive.
Amir Moini directs from a script by Adam Van Dyke.
Bria O’Brien produces for Skull Globe Productions. Castoldi executive produces alongside alongside Prince Chenoa of Galore and Shaina Aidan & David A. Chang of Liminal Space Pictures.
