In case you missed it, filmmaker Shaun Meyer debuted the first episode of his new film noir webseries CARRIER: A Raccoon City Story last Friday, and the episode is now available for your viewing pleasure.
The prequel webseries to the first Resident Evil game is “a detective story told through the lens of comic book cutscenes from Max Payne”, and stars Noah Goldberg, Pablo Kolache, and Trent Hall. The first episode for CARRIER, entitled “A Cold Awakening”, introduces us to Raccoon City Police Detective Sam Othic as he investigates a series of deadly incidents coasting on the rise of aggressive criminal activity that has begun to plague the city.
The episode “kicks things off with a BANG”, and concludes with Sam being led down a path that will take him deep into the criminal underworld of Raccoon City. The series is projected to be a two-season affair, leading up to “The Incident” and the eventual destruction of Raccoon City in 1998.
