‘Fallout’ Season 2 Delivers Holiday Surprise With Early Release Date

The wasteland comes bearing gifts this holiday season. Prime Video today announced that the premiere episode of Fallout season 2 will debut one day earlier.

Season 2 now premieres one day earlier, on Tuesday, December 16, at 6:00 p.m. PT.

The highly anticipated eight-episode second season will continue with one episode rolling out weekly until the season finale on February 4, 2026.

Based on the mega popular video game, Prime Video’s television series is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have…

“200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.”

Season two will pick up from season one’s finale and “take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas.”

Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are the showrunners of “Fallout,” which has already been ordered up for a third season by Prime Video.

The post apocalyptic series stars Ella Purnell (“Yellowjackets”), Aaron Moten (Emancipation), Kyle MacLachlan (“Twin Peaks”) & Walton Goggins (“The White Lotus”).

Macaulay Culkin and Kumail Nanjiani join season two.

Catch up on “Fallout” Season 1 now on Prime Video.
