‘Evil Dead: The Game’ Update: Remake’s Mia Allen Becomes a Playable Survivor in September!

Teased by Saber Interactive yesterday, the team has confirmed this afternoon that Mia Allen from the Evil Dead remake will be joining Evil Dead: The Game this coming September.

Saber reveals in today’s Instagram update (embedded below), “Mia Allen is coming to Evil Dead: The Game as a Survivor this September as part of our next DLC update!

“Mia is included in Season Pass 1. Stay tuned for more news on the next update which will also include free content for all.”

Mia was played by Jane Levy in the 2013 movie, the sole survivor of the film’s Kandarian nightmare. Much like Ash Williams before her, Mia emerged triumphant from the cabin in the woods, losing a hand in the process. Mia has become a fan favorite Evil Dead character over the years, with many fans begging for her to be added to Evil Dead: The Game.

This marks the first time Evil Dead 2013 has been included in Evil Dead: The Game, and we can’t help but wonder if more characters – perhaps a remake map? – will be joining Mia soon…

Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive’s Evil Dead: The Game features single-player and co-op gameplay, promising to be the ultimate Evil Dead experience in the world of video games. Several characters from the movies and TV series are playable in the game at launch, along with four different versions of Deadite-slaying horror hero Ash Williams.

In the game, “Work together as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, crafting, managing your fear, and finding key artifacts to seal the breach between worlds. Or take control of the powerful Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves as you seek to swallow their souls.”
