Eli Roth follows up last year’s slasher movie Thanksgiving with this year’s video game adaptation Borderlands, and up next he’s writing and directing a sequel to the holiday slasher.
What else is Roth working on? Chatting with Entertainment Weekly, the Hostel and Cabin Fever filmmaker has revealed that he’s also writing another horror movie at the moment!
The mysterious untitled horror movie is being written by Eli Roth and his Borderlands star Ariana Greenblatt, Roth reveals in the new chat with Entertainment Weekly.
“We have a great idea, so we’re writing a movie together,” Roth tells Entertainment Weekly. “I don’t want to say anything about it yet, but she’s so smart I’m like, ‘Let’s write a movie together, and we’ll produce it together, and I’ll direct it, and you’ll star in it.'”
Roth notes in the chat that Ariana Greenblatt (Love and Monsters) “loves horror.”
