DreadXP and TheClassifiedX’s ‘The Human Show’ Open Playtest Extended to July 16

Formerly known as The Outsiders, DreadXP and developer TheClassifiedX’s The Human Show as it’s now called recently began a closed playtest. Based on the feedback from players (and fans), not only has DreadXP extended the playtest, but they’ve opened it up for everyone to join!

Originally set to conclude on July 10, the playtest for The Human Show has now been extended to July 16. In addition, anyone who wants to join in on the fun can head over to the game’s Steam page, hit the “Request Access” button, and you’re in!

Currently in development for an Early Access release, The Human Show will feature two game modes upon its release: The Human Show and The Origin. The Human Show is an asymmetrical multiplayer co-op mode of two to five players, which sees players as the unwilling contestants in a high-stakes, life or death game show. In The Human Show, one player will assume the role of Game Master, doing whatever they can to scare, ensnare, and modify the map to make it even more dangerous.

Meanwhile, The Origin is the first chapter of The Human Show’s single player campaign, which tells an evolving horror tale about The Human Show, and the various contestants that are trying to survive it. The campaign will be periodically updated with new chapters that expand on the story throughout Steam Early Access — offering new lore, scares, and a heaping spoonful of ‘80s nostalgia.
