‘Dead by Daylight’ Comic Series Exploring The Hillbilly’s Origins Hits Shelves Next Week

The Hillbilly gets his own origin story in Titan Comics and Behaviour Interactive’s brand-new comic book series based on the hugely popular horror video game Dead by Daylight

The comic launches next week, on April 8, 2026.

Written by Derek Fridolfs (Batman: Arkham City), with art by Dean Kotz (Black Hammer, The Savage Sword of Conan) and colors by Allison Hu (Corvus), Dead by Daylight: The Hillbilly will explore the origins of one of Dead by Daylight’s original killers and follow a rookie cop uncovering the face of pure evil… 

Fans of Dead by Daylight can collect a number of cover variants for the upcoming release, see below. Additionally, an exclusive in-game code can be found within the comic’s pages.
