Now more than ever, “the world needs heroes,” and DC is reminding us of that fact with a preview video for their slate of 2022 movies, which features some fresh new footage.
Coming this year from DC, The Batman, Black Adam, The Flash, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom get the spotlight in the video, which you can watch down below.
Most notable here is the Black Adam footage, giving us some fresh looks at Dwayne Johnson as the title character along with our first look at Pierce Brosnan‘s Doctor Fate!
Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman is coming first, headed to theaters on March 4, 2022. It’s followed by Jaume Collet-Serra’s Black Adam on July 29, 2022, and then Andy Muschietti’s The Flash (featuring Michael Keaton as Batman!) on November 4, 2022. James Wan’s Aquaman sequel is the last to release this year, coming to theaters on December 16, 2022.
While none of these are horror films per se, they’re all directed by filmmakers we know from the horror genre, so that’s a pretty cool thing to note in regards to DC’s 2022 slate.
