‘Constantine: The House of Mystery’ – Animated DC Short Rated “R” for “Bloody Violence”

John Constantine is back this year with a brand new animated project from DC, part of their “DC Showcase” series of original short films. And have no fear, it’s definitely rated “R”!

Titled DC Showcase – Constantine: The House of Mystery, the animated short from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has been rated “R” this week for “some bloody violence.”

The short comes in the wake of DC’s 2018 animated movie Constantine: City of Demons, which was similarly rated “R” for “bloody violence/gore, disturbing images, and some sexual content.”

Matt Ryan will once again voice Constantine in The House of Mystery, a role he’s been playing since the short-lived “Constantine” TV series. Before Ryan, Keanu Reeves owned the role.

Expect the new short sometime in Spring 2022.
