While we wait for “Chucky” Season 2 later this year, the iconic killer doll first made a pit stop on “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend, with the sketch now available online.
“SNL” was hosted by Jake Gyllenhaal (Ambulance), and Gyllenhaal appeared in the sketch featuring Chucky. The Child’s Play icon, in fact, even stabs the actor in the leg at one point.
In the sketch, “A group of co-workers (Melissa Villaseñor, Ego Nwodim, Chloe Fineman) get caught gossiping about their colleague Janet (Aidy Bryant) by Chucky (Sarah Sherman).”
As it turns out, Chucky works in the office, and he takes exception to being compared to one of the other employees. As you might expect, wacky Chucky hijinks ensue in the office.
