Christoph Waltz Offers Up Blood For Science in Luc Besson’s ‘Dracula’ Exclusive Clip

Christoph Waltz is hunting vampires as the Van Helsing-like Priest, for science, in our exclusive new clip from Luc Besson’s Dracula.

Originally titled Dracula: A Love Tale, the gothic fantasty take on Bram Stoker‘s classic horror novel opens in theaters on February 6, 2026 via Vertical.

Watch the clip below that sees Waltz’s Priest offer up a little blood to get closer to his fanged research subject.

In the film, “When a 15th-century prince (Caleb Landry Jones) witnesses the brutal murder of his wife (Zoe Bleu), he renounces God and damns heaven itself. Cursed with eternal life, he is reborn as Dracula, an immortal warlord who defies fate in a blood-soaked crusade to wrench his lost love back from death, no matter the cost. On the verge of reuniting, Dracula is hunted by a relentless priest (Christoph Waltz), sworn to end his immortal reign.”

Danny Elfman (Batman, Beetlejuice) composed the score.

Zoë Bleu, Guillaume de Tonquedec (The Double Life of Véronique), Matilda de Angelis (“The Undoing”), Ewens Abid (“Andor”), and Raphael Luce (“Stranger Things”) also star in Dracula.

Executive producers include Mark Canton, Dorothy Canton, Ryan Winterstern, and Philippe Corrot.

Our own Daniel Kurland called the film one of the best international horror films of 2025. He wrote, “Besson presents the story as a tragic romance, rather than a foreboding horror story. Make no mistake, there is still a copious body count and endless blood that’s spilled, yet the film’s vibrant visuals make it look like a Baz Luhrmann or Gaspar Noé picture.”
