Charlie Kraslavsky, Who Played Chris Redfield in the ‘Resident Evil’ Cinematic, Is Working on a New ‘Resident Evil’ Project

Talk about a blast from the past for Resident Evil fans. Charlie Kraslavsky, the original actor for Chris Redfield in the opening cinematic for the original Resident Evil, is reprising his role as Chris for a new project.

Spotted by the Resident Evil Database, Charlie can be seen looking rather grizzled in Chris’ Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance gear (notice the patch). It’s not clear what the project is for, though some fans have already poked Netflix’s Resident Evil adaptation showrunner Andrew Dabb in hopes that Charlie could get something of a cameo in the series.

This isn’t the first time that fans have been busy with regards to the actors for the famous cinematic. A few years back, fans were able to find the actress who played Jill Valentine, though the actress has yet to talk about her time shooting the cutscene. Other actors, such as Greg Smith (Barry Burton), Eric Pirius (Albert Wesker) and Charlie Kraslavsky have been more open about their time working on Resident Evil.

Meanwhile, Netflix’s Resident Evil series debuts globally on Netflix on July 14, 2022. The series stars Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker, Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, Paola Nuñez, Ahad Raza Mir, Connor Gossatti and Turlough Convery.
