Capcom Launches Puzzle-Filled ARG Website for the ‘Resident Evil 4’ Remake

Fans are counting the days until the Resident Evil 4 remake drops, and Capcom are still cranking out the teaser material. Case in point: Capcom has launched an ARG (aka Alternate Reality Game) website for Resident Evil 4 that’s loaded with puzzles for fans to solve that adds a bit of backstory leading up to the events of the upcoming game.

If you head on over to babyeagleismissing.com.com, you’ll be presented with the news from Agent Greene of the Secret Service Northeastern Division that the president’s daughter, codenamed Baby Eagle, has been kidnapped. It’s up to you to help piece together the fragmented data the Secret Service has been receiving to help pinpoint where Ashley is located.

That “piece together” part is literal, as one puzzle has you putting together a shredded document that contains a code that you’ll need to punch in to advance. Another has you trying to unlock a phone. There are plenty of Resident Evil series references sprinkled about for keen fans. It would appear that Capcom will continue to update the ARG in the coming days, probably leading up to the special stream this Thursday that will include Resident Evil 4.

The remake of Resident Evil 4 comes to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on March 23. And if you haven’t already, check out our preview of the game.
