While we continue waiting for Blade to bite into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a brand new solo movie in 2024, Polygon reports that Blade is first getting a brand new comic series.
From writer Bryan Hill (Killmonger, Batman and the Outsiders) comes this latest ongoing Blade comic book series from Marvel Comics, and it’ll begin day-walking in July 2023.
“Blade is a treasured character for me,” Hill told the website this week. “Here, we have an opportunity to explore his history, reveal new aspects of his world and create a story that’s brutal, sexy, and bold as it travels into the world of monsters and magic.”
Marvel teases, “Bloodbaths, blackmail and Blade – you won’t want to miss the explosive first issue of this new volume!”
In Blade #1, “Marvel’s slickest vampire hunter returns in a brand new ongoing by Bryan Hill (KILLMONGER) and Elena Casagrande (BLACK WIDOW)! True evil is patient.
