Black Lantern Collective revealed release dates during The Horror Game Awards last weekend for two of their upcoming indie horror titles, complete with all-new trailers. The horror RPG dungeon crawler Horripilant will launch February 13th, 2026 on Steam, while the Lovecraftian adventure Mourning Tide hits Steam on April 30th. Demos for both games are now available on Steam.
Combining idler, puzzle and autobattler elements, Pas Game’s Horripilant sees players fight, mine, and think their way through the depths of a forsaken dungeon. You awaken as an old, battered knight, lost in the darkest corners of an abandoned dungeon, with no memory of how you got there. With each step you’ll grow stronger, but beware; every boon has its cost. You’ll encounter bizarre characters, solve cryptic puzzles, and survive the horrors that lurk in every shadow.
Meanwhile, Liquid Squid‘s Mourning Tide is a fishing horror game that rewards your skill and evolve as you progress. You are the fisherman, adrift for time unknown in a place where the bustle of port is but a distant memory. Out here it’s just you, the fish, and your memories. Cast your line, and wait for a bite. But this place is not as it seems. And the tides never forget. Each fish behaves differently and requires quick thinking to overcome. As you fish, you’ll unravel a tragic tale of guilt and loss, where the past is never far behind and the sea holds secrets that may never let you go.
