‘Back 4 Blood’ Unveils Free Halloween-Themed Update Available Today

It’s a no-brainer that Turtle Rock Studios would be getting in on the Halloween season with Back 4 Blood, and they’re doing just that. The developer and publisher Warner Bros. Games announced details today on the upcoming Back 4 Blood October 2022 free Update. The new content includes Halloween-themed cosmetic items earnable through Supply Lines, matchmaking for the No Hope difficulty setting, new cards, character skins, accessories and more.

Arriving today at 10am PT and lasting until November 13 at 10am PT, the new Back 4 Blood content includes new seasonal character skins for Evangelo and Karlee, alongside Halloween-themed titles, emblems and sprays. There are also new legendary accessories, the new “Intel” card type, and new weapon skins including one known as the Pumpkin Eater.

Fort Hope will also see Halloween-themed decorations, which will also be available until November 13th. This is all in addition to the aforementioned matchmaking feature being introduced for the No Hope difficulty, alongside a new Horde Indicator UI that displays important information when a Horde is occurring. There are also various tweaks and bug fixes included in the update.

Back 4 Blood is available now for the Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The latest expansion for the game, “Children of the Worm”, is out now across all platforms.
