Josie Andrews will make her feature debut as director with the comedic slasher movie Bach Sh*t Crazy, Deadline reports. The cast includes Sydney Agudong (Lilo & Stitch).
Gillian Bolt (Landman), Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!), Sydney Cole Alexander (Severance), Ashleigh Murray (The Other Black Girl), Lindsey Normington (Anora), Evan Rubin (A House of Dynamite), and Cody Rigsby will also star in Bach Sh*t Crazy.
The slasher-comedy follows a group of college friends reuniting for yet another bachelorette weekend — this time at a lavish ski chalet owned by the bride’s ultra-wealthy fiancé (Lennon). Maid of honor Maya (Agudong) has grown distant from best friend Evie (Bolt), whose rekindled bond with estranged college mean girl Tess (Alexander) threatens to derail the trip.
A competitive scavenger hunt heightens tensions before taking a violent turn, stranding the women on a snowy mountain with a killer on the loose.
Deadline notes, “Developed by Andrews with collaborators Catie Bolt and Gillian Bolt, the film is inspired by the trio’s ever-rotating roles in their current real-life bridesquad era.”
