While we wait for his new movie Disappointment Blvd., Ari Aster is again joining forces with A24 for a horror project he’s on board to produce, Deadline reports this afternoon.
The mysterious and currently untitled horror movie is being written by Michael R. Jackson (A Strange Loop), a “Pulitzer Prize and New York Drama Critics Circle winning playwright.”
We know nothing about the project at this time, but stay tuned for more.
Aster will produce alongside Lars Knudsen for Square Peg.
Ari Aster of course wrote and directed both Hereditary and Midsommar for A24, and on the strength of those two films, we’re on board for anything and everything he’s attached to.
