All-Night Horror Movie Marathon Coming to Smithtown, NY Includes ‘Night of the Demons’ and ‘The Blob’!

The first annual Smithown Underground All-Nighter is coming to Smithtown, New York on Friday, August 6, an all-night marathon of horror classics for Long Island horror fans!

The event runs Friday, August 6th through Saturday, August 7th, 7pm to 7am! It’s all going down at the Smithtown Library on One North Country Road in Smithtown, New York.

Organizer Jesse Lemke explains to Bloody Disgusting, “We’ll have an old fashioned popcorn trolley, sodas, chips, waters, plenty of coffee (all free). We’ll also be having raffles throughout the night. I contacted Robert Englund, he donated some things to us, and also Shudder donated a stack of DVDs. It’s open to anyone with a library card.”

The movies being shown as part of the Smithtown Underground 1st Annual All-Nighter include The Blob (1988), Session 9 (2001), Enter the Ninja (1981), Messiah of Evil (1973), Demons (1985), and Night of the Demons (1988). Check out the event’s official flyer below.
