After picking up three wins earlier this month at The Game Awards 2023, Remedy’s Alan Wake 2 picked up another three wins at The Horror Game Awards 2023 earlier today. The event also had world premiere trailers for over 20 new titles, as well as a few titles that have already been released that you should check out.

Alan Wake 2 earned wins for Best Narrative, Best Soundtrack (Petri Alanko), and of course, Horror Game of The Year. Alan Wake 2‘s rival this year in Capcom’s Resident Evil 4, which had the unfortunate task of being nominated in many of the same categories. RE4 still earned wins in Best Performance (Nick Apostolides for Leon Kennedy) and Best Survival Horror, while Capcom itself won Best Developer.

The Player’s Choice Award this year, having been pared down from an initial list of 30 titles, ended up going to Black Tabby Games’ Slay The Princess, while the Most Anticipated Horror Game went to Konami’s Silent Hill 2.
