AMC Theaters‘ ongoing Thrills & Chills programming, dedicated to horror and suspense, will be devoted to A24‘s horror favorites in a new partnership between AMC Theaters and A24 for the Halloween season, per IndieWire.
A24 takes over the horror slate throughout October in “A24 Presents: October Thrills & Chills Film Series.”
“Participating U.S.-based AMC Theaters will screen The Witch on October 4, X on October 11, Under the Skin on October 18, and the Director’s Cut of Midsommar on October 25 leading up to Halloween,” IndieWire reports.

While The Witch promises to set the spooky season tone on October 4, fans won’t want to miss the screening of X with the third entry of the franchise, MaXXXine, on the way.
In the third entry, “MaXXXine reverses the franchise’s trajectory through time to pick up with Maxine after the violent events of X, as the sole survivor continues her journey towards fame, setting out to make it as an actress in 1980s Los Angeles.”
Mia Goth reprises her role from X, and she’ll be joined by Halsey, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.
“It’s the best script of the three by far. It’s going be the best movie of the three,” Goth recently told Variety.
A24’s collaboration with AMC Theaters ensures that there will not be enough time in October to enjoy all the Halloween season treats. Choose wisely.
