‘A Plague Tale: Requiem’ Aims For October 18th Release, Extended Gameplay Revealed [Video]

Add another title for those gamers looking to get their horror gaming on this October. Developer Asobo Studio has announced that A Plague Tale: Requiem will launch on October 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam. On top of that, Asobo has also released an extended look at Requiem’s gameplay, which includes 12 minutes of new footage.

Requiem will join Sons of The Forest, Scorn, and the upcoming Resident Evil Village DLC (and Resident Evil Re:Verse) for the Halloween season.

Requiem‘s gameplay footage starts off with protagonists Amicia and Hugo enjoying a moment together on a swing. That moment turns quickly, as soldiers show up looking for the two of them, leading to Amicia  and Hugo fleeing from capture. The footage also provides a glimpse into the duo’s new abilities, including Amicia’s new crossbow and Hugo’s ability to sense enemies, as well as some tension-inducing stealth gameplay.

If you’re keen on getting into the series, you can check out our review of the first game, A Plague Tale: Innocence. The first game is also enjoying an 80% discount during the Steam Summer Sale.
