Witness an Execution in Electrifying ‘Faces of Death’ Clip

Barbie Ferreira (“Euphoria”) comes across a video of a prisoner execution by electric chair in the first Faces of Death clip.

The meta horror remake of the notorious 1978 faux documentary hits theaters next Friday, April 10, via Independent Film Company and Shudder.

Bloody Disgusting is presenting free advance screenings of the film in 13 cities across the country on April 8.

Continuing the exploration of the original film’s infamous ‘Is it real or not?’ conceit, the reboot follows a woman working as a content moderator for a major video platform who discovers what appears to be re-enactments of murders from Faces of Death.

In an online world where nothing can be trusted, she must determine whether the violence is fiction or unfolding in real time.

Dacre Montgomery (“Stranger Things”) Josie Totah (“Saved by the Bell”), Aaron Holliday (Cocaine Bear), Jermaine Fowler (Sorry to Bother You), and pop sensation Charli XCX also star.

Daniel Goldhaber (Cam, How to Blow Up a Pipeline) directs from a script he co-wrote with Isa Mazzei (Cam).

Legendary Entertainment, Don Murphy & Susan Montford of Angry Films Entertainment, and Greg Gilreath & Adam Hendricks of Divide/Conquer produce. Mazzei, Derek Bishé, and Rick Benattar serve as executive producers.

Filmed back in 2023, Faces of Death is rated R for “strong bloody violence and gore, sexual content, nudity, language, and drug use.”
