‘The Hermit’ Trailer Stars Lou Ferrigno as a Cannibal Pig Farmer

In his first creature role since “The Incredible Hulk,” Lou Ferrigno plays a cannibalistic pig farmer in The Hermit. Watch the trailer below.

The “dark horror tale with a quirky edge” will be released on Digital March 3 via Uncork’d Entertainment. A Los Angeles premiere will be held on March 2.

Malina Weissman (“A Series of Unfortunate Events”) and Anthony Turpel (“That ’90s Show”) star as self-absorbed teens dragged on a vacation to the woods.

Their outing quickly spirals into a nightmare as they fight for their lives against an unstoppable cannibal pig farmer who makes jerky made from human flesh.

Salvatore Sclafani directs from a script by William Walkerley. Gerry Pass of Chrome Entertainment produces alongside Sclafani’s First Child Productions.

“I’m very excited to announce my first horror film, The Hermit,” said Ferrigno. “I’ve always been a big fan of scary movies and I hope this one will be on everyone’s list to watch!”

“Lou Ferrigno delivers a performance that horror fans won’t see coming,” adds Uncork’d President Keith Leopard. “The Hermit is dark, action-packed, and wildly entertaining. It’s exactly the kind of bold genre film our audience loves and we can’t wait for viewers to experience it this March.”
