In the wake of “Stranger Things,” it’s a great time to revisit The Gate, as it also concerns young outcasts tasked with saving their suburban town from otherworldly monsters.
Fans of the gateway horror cult classic will be pleased to know Trick or Treat Studios is making a 1:1 scale replica of the film’s minions.
Standing approximately 13″ tall, the demonic creature features detailed sculpting and paint modeled after the film design along with hinged shoulders for subtle posing.
As if that’s not cool enough, Trick or Treat is also releasing a Minion latex mask.
Directed by Tibor Takács, the 1987 film follows two best friends who discover a mysterious hole in a suburban backyard, leading to an underground chamber of demonic evil.
A novelization of The Gate was published last year.
