5 of This Week’s Coolest Horror Collectibles Including the ‘X’ Soundtrack on Vinyl!

Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products released each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.

Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!

Joe Bob Briggs & Darcy Talking Plushies from Fright-Rags

“The Last Drive-In” is back for its fourth season on Shudder, and Fright-Rags has turned Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl into talking plushies. Each 11.5” doll speaks six different phrases when you press their stomach. Joe Bob features a velcro beer bottle, while Darcy has a velcro letter.

Limited to 3,000, they’re $60 for the set — a small price to pay for being able to cuddle with the beloved horror host and his trusty mail girl every Friday night. I suggest picking up Joe Bob’s Lone Star Beer parody koozie while you’re at it.

Friday the 13th Part III Print from Matthew Therrien & Dismay Design

You’ve likely seen Matthew Therrien and Dismay Design’s work individually, but the two horror artists have collaborated on a Friday the 13th Part III piece. Dismay tackled the comic book-style background, then Therrien added Jason Voorhees in the foreground for another dimension in terror.

Just in time for the slasher sequel’s 40th anniversary, 16×24 giclee prints are available for $40 in both artists’ shops. Limited to 100, each one is hand-numbered and signed.

Trick or Treat Shirt from Gutter Garbs

There isn’t enough Trick or Treat merchandise out there, but rock and roll will never die thanks to Gutter Garbs’ new collection of tees. Sam Coyne’s fiery design depicts rock’s chosen warrior Sammi Curr in all his ‘80s glory. Scheduled to ship the week of June 5, grab one for $27 and then cross your fingers that we get a Blu-ray release to match.

X Vinyl Soundtrack from A24

There are a myriad of reasons to love Ti West’s X, one of which is the score. Composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Rob Zombie’s Halloween) with genre-bending musician Chelsea Wolfe, the original motion picture soundtrack is coming to vinyl via A24. It features the film’s atmospheric soundscapes along with Wolfe’s single,“ Oui Oui Marie.” Expected to ship in January 2023, the LP is pressed on black vinyl. It’s available to pre-order for $30.

Halloween Print from Creepy Carves

We’re officially halfway to Halloween, and Creepy Carves is celebrating with posters from John Carpenter’s 1978 classic. Four designs by Austin Hinderliter are available, but I’m partial to this one showing Laurie Strode’s yearbook. Not only is it a unique take on a movie that has inspired innumerable artwork, but I love how the cheer heard briefly in the film is on the cover, not to mention the pool of blood in the shape of Michael Myers’ mask.

Officially licensed from Compass International Pictures, each 18×24 print is limited to 100. They’re $24 each or $75 for the set of four. The designs are also featured in Printed in Blood’s new Halloween Artbook.
