The Wicker Man 4K UHD Steelbook from Best Buy

Best Buy will exclusively carry The Wicker Man on Steelbook 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital on October 17 via Lionsgate. Richey Beckett designed the artwork. Pre-orders are live for $21.99.

In her recent 50th anniversary retrospective, Meagan Navarro called the 1973 British folk horror film “a classic horror movie whose legacy only seems to grow more potent with age.” Robin Hardy directs from a script by Anthony Shaffer (Frenzy). Edward Woodward, Britt Ekland, Diane Cilento, Ingrid Pitt, and Christopher Lee star.

The 94-minute “Final Cut” has been restored in 4K with Dolby Vision/HDR and LPCM mono audio. Special features include “The Wicker Man at 50” featurette; interviews with Hardy, Lee, and Ekland; featurettes with cast and crew; and more.


Nosferatu Figure & Metaluna Mutant Figure from Super 7

Super 7 is adding two more classic movie monsters to its Ultimates action figure line: Nosferatu’s Count Orlok in full color and a glow-in-the-dark version of This Island Earth’s Metaluna Mutant.

Count Orlok comes with three interchangeable heads, eight interchangeable hands, rat, and key ring. Metaluna Mutant comes with two interchangeable heads and four interchangeable hands.

Each 7” toy is packaged in a slipcase-style collector’s box. Due out in April 2024, they’re available to pre-order for $54.99 each.


Mothman Plush from Youtooz

Who among us wouldn’t want a hug from the Mothman? Your dreams can soon be a reality, courtesy of Youtooz.

The 6″ plush is based on Sarah Andersen’s Cryptid Club webtoon. Expected to ship in January, it’s up for pre-order for $24.99.


Rosemary’s Baby Print from Steven Luros Holliday

Steven Luros Holliday celebrated 55 years of Rosemary’s Baby by debuting a poster at HorrorHound Weekend. Limited to 175, the remaining quantity is available online directly from the artist on Etsy. Dubbed “Adrian Lives,” the 20×30 print costs $25.


It Came from Outer Space 4K UHD from Universal

It Came from Outer Space will be released on 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray and Digital) on October 3 as part of the Universal Essentials Collection. The 1953 sci-fi horror is celebrating its 70th anniversary.

Priced at $34.99, the limited edition set includes a slipcase, reversible artwork, 34-page booklet (with on-set photos, promotional images, artwork, and more), film cell replica, four art cards, and certificate of authenticity.

Jack Arnold (Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Incredible Shrinking Man) directs from a script by Harry Essex (Creature from the Black Lagoon), based on a story by Ray Bradbury. Richard Carlson, Barbara Rush, Charles Drake, Russell Johnson, Kathleen Hughes, and Joe Sawyer star.

It Came from Outer Space has been newly restored in 4K with HDR with DTS-MA 3.0 LCR Discrete audio. The 3D version is included on Blu-ray, along with an audio commentary by film historian Tom Weaver and “The Universe According to Universal” featurette.
