5 of This Week’s Coolest Horror Collectibles Including Retro ‘Halloween’ Action Figures!

Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products announced each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.

Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!

Halloween Action Figures from Fright-Rags

Fright-Rags has released three new Halloween retro-style action figures: Dr. Loomis (with removable coat), Sheriff Brackett (with pistol and flashlight), and Annie (with school books). They join the previously released Michael Myers, Laurie, and Lynda, which back in stock.

Sculpted by Plastic Meatball, each toy stands 3.75″ tall and has five points of articulation. They’re packaged on backer cards with art by Justin Osbourn. Priced at $20, they’re expected to ship in July.

City of the Living Dead 4K UHD from Cauldron Films

City of the Living Dead will be released on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on August 15 via Cauldron Films. It has been restored in 4K with Dolby Vision (HDR 10 compatible). Italian and English mono 2.0 audio tracks are including, along with both the English and Italian credit sequences via seamless branching.

Also known as The Gates of Hell, the 1980 Italian horror film is directed by Lucio Fulci (The Beyond, Zombie) from a script he co-wrote with Dardano Sacchetti (The Beyond). Christopher George, Catriona MacColl, Carlo De Mejo, Antonella Interlenghi, and Giovanni Lombardo Radice star.

The three disc set features four audio commentaries (a new one by film historian Samm Deighan, plus archival tracks with MacColl, Radice, and film historians Troy Howarth and Nathaniel Thompson), interviews with Radice, De Mejo, production designer Massimo Antonello Geleng, and more.

Chucky Bag from Trick or Treat Studios

Although his mangled appearance from Bride of Chucky may be Chucky’s most iconic look, I find his original doll appearance to be the most unsettling. Trick or Treat Studios turned the Good Guys doll box into a vegan leather bag. Its adjustable strap can be configured into a crossbody bag, over-the-shoulder purse, or backpack.

Available to pre-order for $69.99, it’s estimated to ship in August.

Gargoyles – Goliath (Video Game Appearance) Figure from NECA

NECA has unveiled its latest Gargoyles ultimate action figure, this one of Goliath based on his video game appearance. Due out in June, it’s available to pre-order for $37.99.

Standing 8″ tall and featuring a 16″ wingspan, the toy is fully articulated, including wings and tail. It comes with two interchangeable heads, four interchangeable hands, and closed wings. It’s packaged in a window box with opening flap featuring video game-inspired artwork.

This is the twelfth toy in the Gargoyles line, following Goliath, Thailog, Hudson, Brooklyn, Demona, Bronx, Broadway, Steel Clan Robot, David Xanatos, Elisa Maza, and Angela.

Blockbuster Pop from Funko

The thought of Blockbuster fills some with nostalgia, while others associate it with the death of mom-and-pop video stores. Depending on which category you fall into, you may be pleased to know Funko is releasing a Blockbuster Pop vinyl figure. Due out in July, it’s available to pre-order for $11.99.
