5 of This Week’s Coolest Horror Collectibles Including ‘Predator’ Shirts from Cavity Colors

Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products released each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.

Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!

Predator Shirt from Cavity Colors

What better way to celebrate the release of Prey than with some Predator merch? The entirety of the original film is fueled by testosterone, but no moment oozes with more machismo than Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carl Weathers’ epic handshake. Commemorate 35 years of beefy biceps with Cavity Colors’ shirt designed by Jert. Priced at $28, it will ship the week of August 29.

Starship Troopers Steelbook 4K UHD from Sony

Starship Troopers is celebrating its 25th anniversary on Steelbook 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray and Digital). Due out on November 1 via Sony, the 1997 satirical sci-fi action film is presented in 4K with Dolby Vision HDR along with Dolby Atmos and 5.1 audio options.

Paul Verhoeven (RoboCop, Total Recall) directs from a script by Edward Neumeier (RoboCop), based on Robert A. Heinlein’s 1959 novel. Casper Van Dien, Dina Meyer, Denise Richards, Jake Busey, Neil Patrick Harris, Patrick Muldoon, Michael Ironside, Seth Gilliam, and Clancy Brown star.

The 4K disc features a new virtual reunion with Neumeier, Van Dien, Meyer, Richards, Busey, Muldoon, Ironson, Gilliam, and Brown, while the Blu-ray hosts all of the archival special features.

Horror Lounge Pants from Fright-Rags

I practically lived in Fright-Rags’ lounge pants during lockdown, so I feel uniquely qualified to attest to their quality. The polyester/spandex blend is super comfy, the all-over print patterns are fun, and they have pockets! The company just dropped four new styles for your comfort: Jaws, They Live, The Twilight Zone, and Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Designed by Kyle Crawford, they’re $35 each.

Cube Vinyl Soundtrack from Enjoy the Ride Records

Before scoring the likes of The Witch, The Lighthouse, and The Black Phone, Mark Koven composed the soundtrack to Cube. 25 years later, it makes its vinyl debut with previously unreleased bonus tracks, courtesy of Enjoy the Ride Records.

The album is housed in a jacket featuring the poster art on the cover and a design by Steven Wild on the back. Three color variants – red (limited to 400), green (limited to 300), and blue (limited to 300) – are available for $24.99 each.

The Count Yorga Collection Blu-ray Box Set from Arrow Video

Arrow Video will release The Count Yorga Collection on October 25. The Blu-ray box set contains 1970’s Count Yorga, Vampire and 1971’s The Return of Count Yorga, both directed by Bob Kelljan and starring Robert Quarry as the titular bloodsucker.

The limited edition set comes with a book containing new writing by critic Kat Ellinger and author Stephen Laws and archival pieces by critic Frank Collins and filmmaker Tim Sullivan, two fold-out double-sided posters, 12 double-sided postcards, and a reproduction of the Count Yorga, Vampire press book.

Each film has been newly restored in 2K from 4K scans of the original 35mm camera negatives with original lossless mono audio. Heather Vaughan designed the new artwork for the set, and the original art for each film is on the reverse side. A slew of special features – new commentaries, interviews, and more – are also included.
